Most state areas including HV close from jan 1- march 31. It opened last weekend. 5.00 fee to ride.

im prolly in for that weekend. Ill volutneer to cook, but can't afford to feed the team. But im usually the grill master at most of the boating/pool/party weekends during the summer. All i ask for is something to sip on while i do it.

Yea it will be a everyone who eats chips in, moneys to tight these days to expect anybody to foot the bill alone but we can get bubba burgers and it shouldnt cost but a couple of bucks each to get a good meal. Who else is in for houston valley sat. april 21?

Suitable For: Motorcycles and ATV's only. No trucks or 4x4's allowed on the trails.

Trails range from 'Easy' to 'Black Diamond'. Most are Easy.

Scope: 2600 acres, 25 miles of trails.

** USE CAUTION **
This is a two-way trail system. For the love of God, do not pitch your bike/ATV sideways in corners and expect there not to be someone coming your way. Ride smart!

From Atlanta:
Go north on I-75, take exit 336 and go North on 41. After about 2 miles turn left at a red light on 201 (there is a convenience store at the corner - stop here for ice, water, gas, ect). After 1/4 mile turn right on Houston Valley Road. After about 5 or so miles turn left on Capehart which goes to the parking lot.

hell ya hey gunny..i havent been there yet,,is it rocky or muddy

Its a fun place, water crossing, some mud holes and good trails that climb up and down, in the parking lot you will be able to go on the trail entrance on the west of you and east, road you came in on will be to the north, the south entrance has a small entrance your rhino wont fit thru but by going the east toward the water crossing take first trail to right and it will take you around that south entrance. Most of the trails will double back to that main dirt road that starts at that south gate so if you get lost just keep going till you come back out on that road. Have fun

Speaking of creek crossings, Scott cty was BAD ASS for a creek crossing! Thanks to Bottle for letting me spin it up on his quad! Tornado was on a ute, and it was good!
