Wow I just read all the way back to April 19th to Now, and wow I missed a lot.So after reading all that, mostly about DT and Mike...I am glad to not be in that man's shoes, he has a real pile of crap on his hands, oh well, that is life... I've Been real busy with getting a new job, which I did .. More money and it is closer.. Mudcon is so lucky I work only 2.5 miles from his house, so .. Hummmm Lunch break maybe.. smiliezood It is good to be back on here.. The new advertisement animation looks great Stan... and Bassett Humping the Huddle house waitress is totally believable I swear what Mtn Dew does to Stan and Little Lee is amazing...

Jess you and Mudcon need to jump into that Super Truck, pull them 4wheelers up here! And WE WILGIT-R-DONE! Then we will stop at the bottom of the hill and invade the Seasons Inn Bar and Grill! Awesome shrimp from the comfort of your machine. Life if GREAT!

The trails are awesome this time of year! WARNING: NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HART

I vote we shut down the Team thread.. there really is no 'Team' any more. Noone comes to the rides.. Noone answers emails.. noone does anything that they SAY they are going to do..

I am totally burnt out on folks that don't follow through with promises and plans..

thinking about selling the quads anyway...

????????? Some people cant help it if family matters come up when there is a ride scheduled. I cant speak for every one, but sometimes you get busy working a new job, or you have to do stuff around the house that uses up the money you wanted to go ride with. I myself just dont have the time to sit in front of the 'puter and post much anymore - just to darned busy. Emerson's busy building a new house, this is Heavy's busiest season of the year working since he works in HVAC. Sometimes you cant drop averything and head to Tennessee no matter how bad you want to.

Sorry for the vent, but shutting down the Team thread just because there is not a lot of posting going on is absurd. Like Stan says, folks are busy doing stuff this time of year, all boards slow down a little. I still stop by and read up on whats going on even if I dont have time to post.

I am all for riding every weekend. But with a wife that works 7:00 am to 5:30 pm every day ,myhours are close to hers, that makes for alot of house work on the weekends, especially with a 7 month old young'un.

We're still loyal Team members, just looking for some getaway time.

I agree with Qdawg.. The Team as we call it is not what it used to be.

Yea everyone is busy .. But we all had day jobs before and managed to post often. And ride often.

Seems Like we have not been the same since the Fall ride last year.

Lets air it out. or what ever.

i agree with the both of you, the team is not what it use to be. and I think it all happened since all that crap went on at the fall ride last year. I see alot of people online but not posting, Emerson, badride and so on never posts anymore. I dont know if its hard feelings between any one or not? I say if it is it needs to get air out and lets get the team back. the last time we all rode at rock creek was a blast except for my busted fender!!!! smiliezood5 lol
I couldnt go to the spring ride but I wanted to bad. right now money is real tight. hell the last 2 times I went riding I had to jump in with other people for a ride just to be able to afford to go and they were all less that 30 miles from the house. BORING I want to go back to windrock bad. but there is nothing I can do til I get over the tax thing this year and work picks back up. I miss the team.........and I dont want to see the section gone. its been a big part of all of our lifes.

Quaddawg-what was you refering to by not answering emails, and doing what they say or plans? I dont think I have but if I have I am sorry. I dont think I have gotten any emails from ya. I hate to see ya get out of the sport, me and jess has a good time with you and cornpup. Frowner

I will have to differ on the time line on the team problems, its all been different since Emerson took the tumble, I understand completely how that type of event can change your outlook on whats really important. Our problem is Randy was our driving force, the one that pushed us to get out and enjoy, there is your reason from then and now. Myself, it opened my eyes to the inherant dangers some of us may take for granted. I have not posted much, because I have just not been interested in anything but getting healthy again, still not there 100%. You want the team back, get someone who has the time and energy and desire to motivate all of us again. But as with all things, times change, people change and things in our lives change, what was very important to us once, might not be so anymore. I love the times Ive had with the team, and thank each and everyone of you for the great memories. I hope there are more in the future...

OK, my 2 cents, if anyone cares.

I sit up here in Northern Maine with what I believe to be some of the best ATV'in ANY state has to offer. Our trails shut down from the time snowmobile trail grooming begins, till May 15th. Which is usually when things dry up enough so we are not totally destroying landowners property. Luckily this year, I was able to ride ATV all winter with heavy rain in January causing trails in my area to become a skating rink. But, usually, I can only come here and read your riding adventures and wish I was riding with the Team. I check this forum often, and really look forward the Teams adventures. Shut it down, hell NO.
As far as Emerson not posting, wtf do you expect! If I was building a house, sorry, I meant mausoleum, I wouldn't be sitting in front of a computer either.
How come I haven't joined in on any rides. How come NOBODY has replied with plans on joining our big ride in June? And it's 1161 miles to Windrock! Not to mention I manage/caretaker/maintenance on 57 apartment units and 6 houses. Right now, I average 70-90 hours a week. And I'm sure most everyone is quite busy this time of year. I think your all stand up/first class my kind of people. Some day I will slow down a tad and come on down and join yall on one of those rides. Till then, I've got your Northern front covered, if ya ever need ANYTHING, don't hessitate to ask.

And keep the TEAM in play, or somebody's gonna pay!

I'm done................

I agree that we need to keep the Team and the posting going. I know that I haven't made it on alot of rides, nor been posting long, but by the time I learned about the Team, I was engaged. I am coming up on my 1st anniversary and will tell you, there has been ALOT going on this past year! I did get a quad for my wife and am getting her into riding and as soon as she gets more experienced and confident on the AC, I will bring her to a ride. Unfortunately though, more bills and less play time are a part of married life, and I will continue to try to make rides whenever possible. I vote, keep the team going, it may get thin at times with everybody being busy, but I am sure that it is only temporary and the team will be up to full strength again soon!
