Ordered some new ITP Terragrips for the Big Cat III. I hope she doesn't throw me like the last two cats did when I changed theirs!!! Damn Moody Women!
Good to see the team rallying to the call to arms! I assure you, the return to the knob will be world class! The Friz returning will be fantastic! Still got to keep our eyes pealed for those damn Possums! They have been quiet way to long! God only knows what they are plotting. No way they will attempt the knob. Two of the biggest ones they have, Morefun and the Griz were brought to their knees, the one and only time they went with the team up there! Morefun swore he would never go back, however, you know how those politicians are! Howbout it Morefun? Up for another ride with the team? Don't try playing possum, we know you're out there! Chopper and Bucket are working on getting my 6' stainless steel grill up to the top of the "Knob" on the 3rd of June! Only Team Emerson would even attempt such a feat. Chopper says it will be no problem if I will let him cut into three sections! Fat Chance!
My money says, the grill will make it there! Can't have world class steaks being grilled one at a time on some tiny arse grill! Would not be "legendary"! This is going to be a real good time as we all return to our roots where it all began! Most of you should remember this is the same "knob" that dislocated Chopper's shoulder and Wheelin flipped his Rancher about 6 times before it landed on the rear of the Big Cat! Damn thing knocked my ice chest off and beer went all over that mountain! Also, the same "knob" where Bucket rolled his ride three times and took one on the side of his head. Morefun refused to ride his brand new one day old Yahama Griz and said anyone could have it if they rode it up the side of the "knob"! His brother, the Griz crawled on his hands and knees and watched Bucket ride his up to the top! Pitiful sight, but not uncommon for Possums! JK I just mentioned all of the above to remind everyone, this is no walk in the park and we will be careful and use spotters in all the tough sections! Damn sure need the Excon, Stan down here. The posters just hasn't been the same since he got paroled and took that real job! I think we all need this one and it will be a relaxing day with some great food and adventure! I will be sponsering a "wet T-shirt" contest after lunch with cash prizes! Let me know who wishes to enter. No 44 longs or Brokeback Mt. entries! It is next to Windrock. Only problem for most is the distance and the cost of gas. Not many can afford $200-300 for gas and room on a regular basis. We just might need to plan trips around here till the prices come down.

royal blue is even better that windrock, it just been this past year people can ride legal on it, but its as big as windrock. I think near 80000acres. The legendary "knob" is located outside of Blue Ridge, GA. Locals refer to it as Beasly Knob. Great views, but with some fairly challenging climbs. There have been quite a few accidents and rollovers. We usually go up 575 or Mudcon comes up 85. We will coordinate where we meet and usually convoy. We look forward to you being there for the "Adventure"!

Hopefully I can come. How challenging is it? If it is really rough I might have to sit this one out. I dont think I'm ready for that yet. I've only been riding for a year. If we do come we have so see about the money situation and finding a place to stay and if we can find a truck that can make the journey.
