Looks like the team will be returning to their origin on December 31st, New Years Eve day.
The Knob, known by the rest of the world as Beasley Knob is a small top(approximately 50 x 50) of a mountain located in the North GA mountains. At times it is very difficult to reach the summit. Ocassionaly it has required winching. There is very little traffic when you reach the top other than a few cycles and jeeps. The meal will be six beer chili and Corona's with lime(the traditional meal of the team). Half the team will be coming from the 75/575 area and the other from the wooly swamp area, 85. Last time we just met in the south parking lot around 8:30 AM. some of the new guests were welcomed with a rendition of "moon over GA"!

Beginning on US 76/APD Hwy. 515 in front of the Blairsville Post Office, go east for 0.7 mile. Turn right onto Windy Hill Road, a paved road. At 0.7 mile when Windy Hill curves sharply to the left, go straight onto a gravel road. After 0.1 mile, turn left onto a narrow gravel road, Forest Service Road #851. Continue on this 0.8 mile to the ORV Area parking lot. Still closed as of today the 24th.
