Brimstone was another "World Class event!"

Drake, Gotmilk. Excon, Kegarator, Badride, Puss in Boots, Gunny, Bucket, Big Bubba and of course the Legend, Emerson attended! Oh did I forget, Junior Johnson also made a guest appearance!

Thanks to "The First Baptist Church of Continuous Struggle of Brimstone" that furnished their picnic area for the lunch! Still can't understand why the Preacher didn't want to join us!

Luckly, Excon and Kegarator were able to put up smoke signals so that we could find where they were all day as they kept getting lost! Glad Excon brought that bale of hay (I think that was what it was) to light.

Oh yea, Mudcon, they did serve complimentary beer at the hotel! Desk clerk said the Tobes had closed due to roaches.

Excon invited the Team to Kentucky and said we could stay at this new Hotel he bought with the contest money. Called it the Seasons, but we are renaming it to "The Suck My Dog Saloon and Brothel of Kentucky"!
He wants to schedule the event next Summer, something about the Health Dept and some rats in the restaurant and some guy getting shot in the parking lot over not paying his check. Should be alright to go around May.


Well, it looks like someone opened a new riding area called the "Highlands" and definitely Team Emerson has to grace their presence with an Adventure!

We will be looking into where we will stay for those that wish to overnight and set the dates! Hope everyone can come.

I'LL BE THERE. AND YESSIR, BRIMSTONE WAS A GOOD RIDE. I'M GLAD I GOT TO MEET A FEW FELLERS THAT I HAVNT MET BEFORE AND GOT TO RIDE SOME NEW TRAILS. I'M LOOKIN FORWARD TO THE RETURN TRIP. THE TRAILS UP THERE AT BRIMSTONE ARE NICE AND ARE MARKED REALLY WELL.

ya it was a good ride other than seeing the great wall of china from bubba. I'm still looking for that damned remote. Can't wait for the next ride.

you may need to get some help to help yuins find that thing....see if Mark or Randy can help ya look for it.... I'm sure they'll be glad to help. Gunny might even pitch in.... WE NEED TO FIND THAT REMOTE!... The TV keeps changing channels... AND I DONT KNOW WHY.....

Had a great time, good fun, great ride, even though we waited half the day on the doobie brothers to catch up Emerson thanks to you for some great chili, world class! Bucket to for doing the cooking and guiding, glad to meet my new friends big bubba and milkman(lickside) hope to see you guys on the trail again real soon

Emerson, Gunny... It's twopercent, 2percent, 2%, whichever is easiest for you... Not got milk,(although the avatar is pretty sweet if I do say so myself) milkman, licside, Lkside (anymore anyway)... O.K. now that we got that out of the way... Yes the ride to Brimstone was awesome... the food was great (on the trail anyway)***just a note,the ribeye steak at the Fireside restaurant is actually the cooks shoe and I don't even want to know what the gravy is at the motel, also if you get Dominoes delivered to the motel, tip well (the delivery guy is scary, even Emerson backed away fast) and drain the pizza before trying to choke it down... also there is a rat in room 116 according to Randy anyway... and in room 114 there is no remote anymore (if you need to change the channel call Bigg Bubba)... It was great meeting everyone and thanks for voting us into Team Emerson...

We were suppose to "CROSS" the creek... not DRIVE UP it..... Yessir we had a great time... the camorody and B.S. session was just as fun there at the motel as on the trails... WOW...WHAT GRUOP OF FINE FELLERS!!... WHAT A TEAM. TEAM EMERSON... Has any one seen the FLAMINGO...? DRAKE... Did yoy bring the FLAMINGO home with you? It looked like the FLAMINGO took a likin' to you at the buffet we ventured.

HELL NO he didn't bring the flamingo with him... He was riding with me and there will be no flamingo's in the Pig Ranch *** I mean the King Ranch... What about GUMMY I mean Patsy did ya'll bring her home???

About this Highlands place... Bubba, Drake, Gunny, Bucket and anybody else who wants to,,, I think we need to go over there and check this place out to see if they are worthy of TEAM EMERSON before we plan a big ride for everybody... What do ya'll think???

NO WE DIDNT... but Randy had her around his finger.... with the website advertising the free hot hors D’oeuvres, we were disapointed when they were falsly advertised this... this was one of the reasons for staying here. but being the negogiating kind of feller he is, Randy pulled thru with the charm and almost had the place to ourselves...

SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN TO ME... HIGHLAND PARK is a privately owned park... should be purty nice. lets go ride.

Sounds like a good idea! I have been looking for information on it, but haven't found anything yet. I wonder how far it is from the Hatfield-McCoy trails. I am still hankering to go there! If you were talking about Highland Park Resort in Cedertown, you will not like it. It is really geared torwared motorcycles and most of the trails are narrow. I had little problem riding my sport quad, but the Arctic Cat 500 and Randy's 400 were very, very difficult to get through some of te trails. Here are a few ideas of places to ride. Brown Mountains ORV, Prentice Cooper State Forest , and we could even go back to Broad River and see the changes the new owners have made!

where is this Highlands place??? I looked online and found one called Highland Park Resort in Cedartown Ga.

yep that is it. glad yall had a good time. I heard highlands is kinda boring so i never went. geared more for motorcycle trails. i do want to check out Brown Mountains ORV, Prentice Cooper State Forest . the pictures from Prentice is beautiful. and its not far. brown mountain is about 4.5 hours from here.

Sounds like Prentice Cooper might be better!

Keg and I finally made it off the hill at about 7:30 P.M. with 57 miles under our belt. Brimstone is awesome! They need to work on that map! 60 is really 50 and 19 scared the shit out of me at the top!

Oh great Six Beer Chilly! I have already sent a sample to the Korean for analysis.

Plan it up! Come on up to Kentucky!

Highland is GREAT for bikes, but not quads, no mud to play in, no quad MX track, it's like a gravel road on a quad. Dont get me wrong, it's a really nice place, nice people, and great trails....i think it'd just bore you utility riders.
