HEY HERE Mr GunnRunner, I ride a green one....... heh-heh.....

I couldnt resist that... ok.. I ride the 2006 Suzuki Vinson 500. I wanted a bigger quad but Igot a good deal on this 'un so I got this'un.

I noticed that you're lookin for an side by side... I'm lookin for one also.... the dealer I've been talkin to has got me thinkin hard about gettin a RHINO... but I would rather have the RANGER. The RANGER is A bit bigger than the rhino... (a bigg bubba needs a bigg side by side).... We have a Ranger at work and I have come to beleive it can out-do the Rhino. My wife likes the Rhino better,... she and my lil one both can drive it comfotably,.... AND thats what we really want, something the whole family can use.

I had a polaris 800 it pulled me and my bitch rider Mudcon up the mountain at windrock just fine

except we burned up the rear fenders on the tires some. I like rangers but dont like the only rear wheel engine braking it has. I like randys arctic cat but hate arctic cats sparce dealer network. So Im more interested in a rhino right now.

well, I dunno if you're aware of this but BASS PRO SHOPS sell the arctic cat line.... and there is a dealer up here in Cleveland and Gainesville that sell'em. I rode in Randys Prowler but wasnt real impressed with it... it had a lot of vibration. but seemed to be an OK ride I reckon. AND yes I can almost agree on the braking with the RANGER, when we take ours at work down to the area below, we start coasting down the drive ...gettin faster and faster with the engine brakin us back ... but at a certain point you have to SPEED UP TO SLOW DOWN.... the engine braking lets go and you start "freewheeling" then you have to "gas it" to get the engine braking to catch up, then it'll do it again.... the engine braking only works up to a certain speed.... but everything else about it is likable to me.
The RHINO'S are nice... but not bigg enuff for BIGG BUBBA. BIGG BUBBA needs BIGG BUTT room.

well guys..i know the rhino is smaller than the prowler and the ranger..but take mine for a spin..i promise it will outrun and out do the others..the only one that has beat me is the rzr

HEY NICK, I really dont care if the rhino is faster or not... and if so, you know me... I'm a bigg feller... and it wouldnt do me no good if I couldnt get in it to drive it...

I like the rhino, ...I may even get one for the girls here... but I'm not comfortable in a sardine can. I gotta have some BELLY ROOM...

...AND the RANGER fits my feet and belly better than the others. The rhino is I think the top selling side by side on the market.... and it MAY BE the best... but they're about the same to me.... Just like pickup trucks... they're all about the same. SOME have features the others dont... and vice versa...its all in what you can afford and what you want.

You might make some other people believe that, but not me. I have ridden with some other people that have Rhino's and this is not true. Yes the Rhino is smaller, but the Ranger has a tighter turning radius. The only thing that holds a Ranger back is the 60" width, everything else like the ride, hauling and towing ratings, turning radius, seating for 3, turf mode, locked 2 wheel drive, and True 4 wheel drive really shine on the Rangers.

And for the guys that like more engine braking you can install a HPD clutch kit and get a Stock Tire Kit--Stage II
These kits are designed to lower ET, greatly improve downshift and engine breaking.

Before anyone buys they should check them all out and see which one suits there needs better, but for me there was no other choice than the Ranger XP.....
