Ok just so every one knows this machine was wrecked almost 4 years ago and has sat in my garauge since because of lack of time and money. It was rolled and almost every thing on the handle bars was wiped off. I had to replace the throttle and the starter/Light switch which came off an earlier 90s warrior. I hooked it up and the lights work and the start button works but when i start it it has no spark in nutral if i click it up into first when im starting it and hold the shifter up not letting it go into gear and also ( this is what confuses me most) I have to hold the starter button down to keep it running as soon as I let off the starter button it dies. I know that the switch worked perfectly fine on the warrior so i do not think it is that but why is it i get no spark in neutral and i have to hold the starter button down for it to get fire? any one have any ideas?

just wired wrong, get a wiring diagram and redo it, could be neutral safty switch, kill switch or other not wired right. you can buy service manuals on cd on ebay for most any model for less than 10.00 or get a clymers manual at a dealer.
