Hi all! Am I glad I found this forum!
I'm trying to remove the carb from my '96 Blaster... The black vinyl tube on the side that feeds the oil I believe...won't just come off, what's the trick? It comes from the crank case and it goes to the left side of the carb (if you are standing in front of the quad looking at the carb)... There was a tad bit of gas left in it and it sat (crap) and now it starts, runs with the choke all the way out but won't idle when it's in...I removed the float bowl and there was very little gunk in it BUT there was some gunk so...I should probably go through it right? Tips or pointers would be great cuz I want to ride it BAD! Thanks in advance JUST A KID IN A GROWN-UP BODY |

The reply is just in case someone else runs into the same thing....
I figured it out (DOH) There's a tiny sleeve that fits over the tiny hose and it will slide off with a bit of effort. Anyway, I didn't know if it was clipped in there or whatever and didn't want to break it. I've gone thru the carb and will be firing it up this afternoon. JUST A KID IN A GROWN-UP BODY |
