Stan, I am looking at getting my wife an ATV. I am looking at some used Rubicons, Rincons, and Recons with 4x4 and AT. What is your opinion of these cycles, being an owner?

So for the slow reply Mud. Emerson is keeping me busy these days.
Well to tell you the truth the Recon is a blast to ride. It little and easy for a smaller peson to control. I love riding wheelies and doing tricks on my sons. Just an all around great machine to have at the ready. The Rubicon is a great choice for riding around here in Eastern Kentucky due to it's great hold back. That is important on the steep decents and climbs that rule this area. Great for technical riding. It's got a rough ride, but very dependable. Not for a small person however. Most ladies love the Recon because it's light. The Rincon is a very fun bike to ride. To me it's like a big fat 400EX. Brakes well and has good power. On the bad side it's heavy and has very little engine braking or hold back as it called around here. Over 3035 members and growing! Thanks to all of you for helping to make this board a nice place to hang out!!! Tell all of your friends about us and post often. |
