Well, the 2008 yearly permits are on sale at the Exxon station in Oliver Springs. For some reason the Windrock ATV club will not let me post it on their web site. They keep telling people they are not for sale. I was there this morning at 5:00am and saw them for my self. Feel free to call them at 865-435-7158 to verify if you need to. Seems this is just like the last few times I have proved a club officer wrong. They just delete the post. Maybe it is the fact that they may not be running the place next year. God I pray they get out of it every day! They are like a bunch of 6 year old kids. It's my ball, if you don't let me win, I will leave and take my ball with me.

They dont want you telling people cause it cuts them out of the profit(or club donation from windrock) on those permit sales.

That club is not the same since Red left. It has went straight down hill, fast. I am glad now I am not a member. I was going to join until I found out Red was stepping down. So I wanted to wait to see how things were ran before I joined. I saw real quick that I wouldn't get along with the new leaders. I can't see what a person would get for their dues. I can ride Windrock any time I want as long as I have a permit. I don't have to be a club member. They hardly ever go on club rides. They do work on the trails but they make them so easy Emerson can ride all of them. Wait, did I really type that? Oh well, I like the trails just before the club works on them, of course I like mine difficult. If the club had their way I could just sell my 4X4 and get a two wheel drive with slick tires to ride most of the trails. They do raise money for some charity and they pick up trash and cut trees out of the trails, but me and a lot of non club members do that too.

I posted about the same as above on another web site. I know the web admin. He removed my post because he is afraid the club officers will be upset with him if he lets it stay on. He agrees with me in person but not on line where they can see it. Man, I would hate to think I was such a wimp!
