I have a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 and the dash went blank and the front wheel drive quit working. Is this a bad fuse or something more serious? I can't find a bad fuse so I need some help please.

If your sure its not a fuse, check the wires where they connect at the plug ins , unplug and plug back in all connections you can find it would help to put some dielectric greese on each this would keep them water tight in the future.

Thanks for your help GunRunner. I double checked the fuses and then disconnected all connections and put dialectric grease on each one. Still no luck. I took apart the wiring loom and traced all of the wires and was able to find a broken ground wire coming out of the headlight and instrument cluster bucket and that fixed the problem. I am sure glad that is over with!
Thanks again! |
