Directions:

Take I-85 north into N.C. get off on exit 78. That is the hwy.221 exit. Make a left. Take 221 to hwy.64 make a right.

Once you get into Morganton it gets kinda tricky. You will come to a light on 64 in morganton and there will be a very large school for the blind on your right. It is built out of red brick. You will make a left there. That is 70. It will reconnect with 64. You will come to another traffic light. There will be a do-it yourself car wash on the right, make a left that will be 181. Gas up there. That is your last stop before brown mtn.

Follow 181 N. toward linville .Turn right on brown mtn. beech road. (there is a small wooden church on the right. The entrance is about 5 miles down the road.

The total travel time is 4hours 15 min. consistantly with one stop for gas and one stop for breakfast on the run.
