The Coal Creek OHV area is located in Oliver Springs, Tennessee. The property is owned by Coal Creek Mining & Manufacturing Company (CCMMC) and consist of 72,000 acres of land.

CCMMC has arranged to have the property managed by the Windrock ATV Club. They are responsible for maintaining all of the trails including mapping and clearly marking all trails.

The trail head is usually staffed by the Windrock ATV Club Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am until 2:00pm. You can purchase your riding permit from them at the trail head and also get a map to the entire riding area.

The parking area for the trail head can accommodate very large groups, and has plenty of room for RV parking and primitive camping. There is no fee for parking or camping.

One day permits are $15.00

Two day permits are $30.00

Three day permits are $40.00

Four day permits are $50.00

Yearly permits are $ 80.00



**Everyone that enters the Coal Creek OHV Area is required to have a permit, this includes all passengers. Regardless of your activity or age if you enter the OHV Area you must have a permit.

Visit the Snack Shack located at the trail head. They start serving breakfast at 7:00am everyday.

The Snack Shack now also sells permits during the week along with Coal Creek OHV Area merchandise. They are also very helpful if you happen to have an questions while visiting. Make sure to stop by and say hi to Vicki and Howard.
