KATAHDIN LODGE is located 10 miles north of Patten, Maine (19 miles from I-95 exit 264) on "Aroostook Scenic Highway" State Route #11 in Moro Plantation. We have groomed access to ITS #81 & #85 connecting to the more than 1,600 MILES of maintained Snowmobile trails in Aroostook County. Our accommodations include nine rooms in the Main Lodge Bldg. and two 5 person cabins, each having a TV/VCR, refrigerator and a microwave.

KATAHDIN LODGE is situated on 40 acres in the expansive Aroostook County North Maine Woods - well known for its many year-round outdoor activities and awesome scenery. In the Spring there is x-treme white-water rafting at Jackson Sluice on the Mattawamkeag River and maple syrup production tours nearby. During the Summer enjoy mountain-climbing, golfing, wild blueberry picking, volleyball and horseshoes. Hike back from KATAHDIN LODGE down to Hale Pond, use our canoes and explore a secluded Maine lake stocked with brook trout. Hop on your ATV, ride our area trails all day and come back to a delicious home-cooked dinner. We are a 28 mile drive to the north gate of Maine's BAXTER STATE PARK, and only one mile from the International Appalachian Trail. (Insect repellent is highly recommended in the month of June.) Our spectacular Fall Foliage Season begins around Sept. 25 and usually peaks Oct.7-10. See it up close on your ATV or ask us about your personalized flight around MT. KATAHDIN LODGE can be rented for small banquets, family reunions, receptions, and conferences. We have a piano, TV/VCR/DVD, sound system, and overhead projector for your use. Overnight accommodations are available for up to a group of 35. Notary Public services are available in our Camp Store.
