What-da-heck???!!! No clubs in 9 months??

Well the QUAD ABUSERS are here to save this thread.

We're a small group of people who love to ride and have a good time. We're never happy with the status quo and look for ways to make life better and more fun! We're constantly looking for new places to ride and new people to ride with. We ride hard and play hard and when we relax, we relax hard!!

We're interested in anything involving the outdoors and quads. Its more than just a hobby for most of us, its more a lifestyle. We've had "hobbyist" ride with us but they tend to get overwhelmed and we don't see them anymore. Several members have kids who have quads and they can ride the pi$$ outta them.

Lately we've gotten into sled pulls at the local fairs. We've dominated every class everywhere we go. We've all done some mods to our machines to make them more rideable which has translated well at the pulls. Mark even runs $4.00 a gallon race fuel, the rest of us just use the 89octane reagular $3.00 stuff.

We love to Ride at coal creek and try to get there every 6-8 weeks. We ride locally at several private places and a few public ones too. We go to the Shoe(I275 at the Ohio river in Law'burg In.) on a regular basis.

We meet every Fri nite at Rob's camp on laughry creek to discuss upcoming rides, to decide where to ride Sat and Sun, and do a little riding, and a bit of "juicin". Some people stay the night and sometimes the whole weekend. We make that our base and travel to several riding areas and return at nite to camp and consume massive amounts of carbs.

Fishercat, Check out what is happening all along the appalatian mountains with ATVs. Small towns and counties are finding that theres gold in them there hills! Do some research on how they are benefitting and relay that to your leaders. When you talk in money figures they listen.

Right now is a tough time to be trying to sell anything recreational. Lets pray that the country comes out of this stronger.

Thanks eiger! That sort of data has already been presented to our politicians, but being what they are they're slow to act ! Our neighbors in New Hampshire had a independent study conducted by The University of Pennsylvania that states in 2003 NH brought in $376,000,000 (376 million that is !!!)in ATV tourism with they're public trails policies ! You would think that would get somebodies attention !
