Hi Guys,
Newbie here to this forum. I need some advice. My son's LT 80 will not turn over. The selenoid under the seat makes a clicking sound, but the starter does not engage. Have any info? Thanks, Pono |

What is the condition of the battery? There a number of things that could cause the engine not to turn over, low or bad battery, bad soliniod, bad starter, bad starter switch or lockedup engine.Since the soliniod clicks its probably ok.If you know the battery is in good shape you can check the starter by jumping the two poles of the solinind. If it dose'nt turn over the starter then its a bad starter or seized engine.Good Luck.

I replaced the starter and wiring harness. It works fine now. I believe it was the wiring harness. The newer lt80's have a circuit breaker in the wiring harness. The older ones do not. I bought a used harness that has a circuit breaker and it works fine. My sons lt80 is a 95.
