If its slipping, you best take care of it or you might find yourself deep in the woods with a blown belt. Once they start to slip, they can shread at any moment leaving you stranded. No big deal to throw a new belt on, takes about a hour.

your better off to just get it replaced. when they go they go quick ussualy and you run the risk of spinning a berring. i agree with gun runner on that it only takes a few minutes to change a belt and doesn't cost mush either. spun bearring is a little pricey and alot of work to fix. just better to fix it and get it done right.
